SEIKO 6306-7001
The luminous compound on the hour and minute hands didn’t match the dial lume, and the mainspring fitted was incorrect for this model. The movement was flooded with oil, and the crown seal had hardened, requiring a complete rebuild.
The movement was fully stripped, cleaned, and rebuilt with correct replacement parts where necessary. A new crystal and seals were fitted, and the hands were re-lumed to perfectly match the dial. The correct mainspring was sourced and installed.
The crown was completely rebuilt — a challenging task, as these were originally sealed, non-serviceable units. We’ve developed a method to service and reseal them, ensuring the watch is once again watertight and reliable. The watch now runs beautifully and looks exceptional — a complete transformation that brings this rare vintage Seiko diver back to life.
