What these terms cover

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you, whether these are goods or services.

Why you should read them

Please read these terms carefully before submitting your order. They explain who we are, how we provide products, how either party can change or end a contract, what to do if there’s a problem, and other important information.
If you think there’s a mistake, please contact us before accepting an estimate.

We’ll contact you by telephone, email, or post using the details provided in your order.

“Writing” includes emails — references to “writing” or “written” include email communication.

3. Our Contract With You
Obtaining a Price for Services

By Post
You can request a postal pack to send your watch to:
Lower Totease Farm, Framfield Road, Buxted, TN22 4LF
The pack and postage are free of charge and include a personal information and service request form.

Once we’ve inspected your watch, we’ll email you an estimate based on:

The nature and method of required services or repairs.

The type of replacement parts to be used, restored, or sourced.

We’ll ask you to confirm acceptance of the estimate before proceeding.

Before sending your watch, please email a picture of your watch in our packaging (including make, model, and serial number) to info@bevintagegb.co.uk

If you decline our estimate, notify us via email. We’ll return your watch by recorded delivery once you’ve paid £15.00 + VAT for postage and handling. Watches are only returned to the original shipping address.

We’ll email your quote and ask you to confirm by email before accepting your order.

Order Acceptance

Your order is accepted when we email confirmation, creating a binding contract between you and us.

If We Cannot Accept Your Order

We’ll notify you in writing and won’t charge for services rendered to that point (except return postage of £15.00 + VAT).
Reasons may include:

Out-of-stock items

Resource limitations

Credit reference issues

Errors in pricing or description

Unachievable delivery deadlines

Additional Terms

You’ll receive an order number for all correspondence.

We only sell to the UK.

Our insurance doesn’t cover international shipments or packages not sent using our instructions.

By sending your watch, you authorise us to dismantle it for assessment.
We’re not liable for damage in transit; please package carefully and document condition before shipping.

We do not service replica watches. If received, a £36 + VAT admin fee and £18 + VAT return fee apply.

Do not accept delivery of a tampered package. Our insurance covers loss and damage in transit until confirmed receipt by you.

4. Our Products

Product images are for illustrative purposes; colours may vary by device.

Packaging may differ from images shown.

5. Your Rights to Make Changes

If you wish to change your order, contact us. We’ll confirm if it’s possible and outline any effect on price or timing.

We may make minor changes:

To reflect laws or regulatory requirements.

To apply minor technical adjustments or manufacturer updates (e.g., movement upgrades).

7. Providing the Products
Delivery Costs

Displayed on our website or provided in your quote.

Delivery Timing

Goods: Delivered within 5 working days of order acceptance.

Services: Start and completion dates confirmed during order process.

Delays may occur; timeframes are estimates only.

We’re not responsible for delays caused by external events (e.g., postal strikes, customs delays).

Collection

You may collect items from our premises during business hours (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00, excluding bank holidays).
Please bring:

Photo ID

Proof of address

If you fail to collect or rearrange delivery, we may charge for storage or end the contract.

Ownership and Responsibility

You’re responsible for goods once delivered or collected.

Ownership passes to you upon full payment.

Suspension of Supply

If payment isn’t made within 14 days of a reminder, we may suspend services and charge interest (see Section 14.5).

Parts & Components

Replaced parts may not be returned due to manufacturer exchange requirements. Generic parts may be used if originals are unavailable.

No warranty or assurance is given on the market value of any watch following service.

8. Irregular Title

If a watch is flagged as stolen, we’ll notify the police and follow their instructions.
We will not return the product unless authorised by law enforcement.

9. Your Rights to End the Contract

You may end your contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 depending on circumstances (faults, delays, changes, etc.).

Returns must be sent via Special Delivery and suitably packaged.

Full refund and deduction rules remain as written in your original terms.

11. Our Rights to End the Contract

We may end the contract if payment isn’t made or goods aren’t collected.
We may retain reasonable compensation for costs incurred.

13. Consumer Rights on Defective Products

You are legally entitled to goods that conform to contract.
If defective, return items to us — we’ll cover postage.

14. Price and Payment

Prices include VAT and are confirmed by email.

Payment is taken in advance via accepted cards.

Late payments may incur 2% above Bank of England base rate.

If unpaid for 6 months, we reserve the right to sell your watch and retain owed sums.

15. Warranty

Applies only to full services and covers mechanical functionality.

Warranty period: 24 months from service date.

Invalid if opened or serviced by an unauthorised person.

Does not cover: wear and tear, negligence, accident, or water damage.

16. Liability

We’re responsible for foreseeable losses caused by our negligence, but not for indirect or business-related losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where unlawful (e.g., fraud, injury, defective products).

17. Use of Personal Information

We use personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, available on request via info@bevintagegb.co.uk

18. Other Important Terms

We may transfer rights or obligations to another organisation.

You may not transfer your rights without our consent.

These terms are governed by English law.

Disputes may be submitted for online resolution via the European Commission ODR platform.
