​Moisture ingress had taken its toll, damaging the luminous compound on the hands and indices and causing rust throughout the movement. The crown and stem assembly showed severe corrosion, and the hardened seals had failed, allowing further moisture inside.

To restore the watch’s appearance, we sourced and fitted a suitable replacement for the faded inner rotating bezel. Bracelet repairs and a full re-lume of the dial and hands have brightened the watch dramatically.

Following a complete service, the watch is now running beautifully and looks as sharp as ever — a fine example of a true vintage Seiko brought back to life.
